Vessels Under Pressure: Predicting Drug-Induced Vascular Injury with NAMs

By

Drug-induced vascular injury (DIVI) leads to hemorrhage, thrombosis, inflammation and vascular leakage, and remains hard to de-risk in preclinical safety assessment. Signals seen in animals are often poorly predictive of human outcome, and the tools to resolve them are limited, leaving uncertainty in prioritization and the risk of late-stage clinical liabilities. MIMETAS is closing this gap by developing human vessel-on-chip models that interrogate all four DIVI mechanisms.

On October 28, join Gwenaëlle Rabussier, PhD (Scientific Project Lead, MIMETAS) for a live webinar on how human vessel-on-chip models support mechanistic investigation of DIVI.

Webinar highlights:

- One human platform spanning all four principal DIVI mechanisms: direct endothelial injury, immune activation, platelet activation and vasoactive effects

- Reference drugs with clinical vascular liabilities produce the expected responses, on endpoints that 2D and animal systems fail to faithfully recapitulate

- How to bring these assays into your program, as ready-to-use plates, a standardized OrganoService, or completely custom services.
