The latest developments in the fields of vascular biology

Vascular Biology 2017 Monterey, CA

October 15 - 19, 2017, Monterey, CA

The Vascular Biology 2017 Meeting will feature NAVBO’s Developmental Vascular Biology and Genetics Workshop and Vascular Matrix Biology and Bioengineering Workshop, as well as two Special Symposia: Vascular Therapeutics, and Bioengineering Organ-Specific Vasculatures.

NAVBO Workshops provide in-depth, cross-disciplinary approaches to these subject matters. They bring together leading scientists in developmental biology, genetics, matrix biology, bioengineering, cell and molecular biology, as well as pathology and physiology, who have an underlying interest in vascular biology and its impact on diseases. The entire program features prominent speakers and inaddition, there will be poster presentations, and exhibits by vendors who demonstrate the latest products, services, and technology in the fields of vascular biology.

MIMETAS will be represented during the following presentation & poster sessions on Tuesday October 17:

  • Presentation Title: BBB on-a-chip: a 3D in vitro model of the human blood brain barrier
    Session: Bioengineering Organ-Specific Vasculatures
    Location: Merrill Hall
    Tuesday, October 17 at 3.45pm

  • Poster Title: Perfusable 3D angiogenesis in high throughput microfluidic culture platform
    Poster Session: Bioengineering Organ-Specific Vasculatures
